In 2008, Marisa founded Core Principles Performance with the vision of inspiring others to achieve optimal wellness. Spending the majority of her youth on a soccer field, track or gymnastics studio; Marisa’s passion for a healthy lifestyle has lead her to Core Principles Performance. With over 10 years experience in the fitness industry, she offers a unique blend of modalities to meet the needs and personalized goals for every client. Strength, Endurance, Flexibility and Massage are Marisa’s four pillars to personal fitness.
After an amazing career at The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, Marisa knew her heart was back on the playing field. “As a Trainer, Coach and Therapist, I have been blessed to help transform the lives of my clients. Whether it be completing their first triathlon, helping an athlete recover from an injury or working to improve flexibility – it’s been an incredible ride so far.”
In addition to several Sprint, Olympic and Half Iron Distance triathlons, Marisa completed the Chicago Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon, Goofy Challenge, Ironman Lake Placid and Seattle to Portland bike Ride.
